Have you noticed anything different on Fraternity Mall lately? If you're wondering what the gigantic white tent structure is, you've come to the right place!

To help give our students & campus community a cool, new venue to hang out or study, we've placed 'The Lodge' in the field between sorority and fraternity row until the end of April. It's free to go inside, and there are a bunch of cool places to relax (we'd recommend the hammocks...), a life-sized chess game and even daily competitions to win cool prizes. We're bringing new events and games everyday so get the squad and we'll see you at The Lodge!

We have plenty of fun things to do at The Lodge and we want to make sure all students know about it! Here are some fun ways to let people know you've been at the coolest place on campus.


  • Unlock our Lodge Snapchat filter when you visit.
  • Use #TheLodgeUW when you post your pics.
  • Tag @UofWyoming and @UWyoCSIL on Insta!
The Lodge is 100% free for students and campus community members to use. Student organizations are encouraged to bring their regular meetings over to The Lodge at no cost*, or you can meet up afterwards for a coffee where you can sit back, relax and catch up after a long day at school. We're currently accommodating up to 100 people inside The Lodge — and as always, please make sure you fill out your daily COVID Pass and mask up. Both are required upon entry.


We're working on new events including karaoke, free food days and more, so be sure to check them!

* Small student organizations meeting in small groups can be held at The Lodge at no cost. Larger groups can be accommodated for private events for four hours for a rate of $547 (i.e. departmental end-of-year parties, etc.) To rent the space for exclusive use on Sat & Sun from 5 - 9 p.m. contact Jeremy.Davis@uwyo.edu to make a reservation.

No alcohol, smoking or other shenanigans.

Only 100 people may be inside The Lodge at once.

Face coverings are required (must cover mouth & nose).

A green COVID Pass is required for entry.

Stay as long as you like but if The Lodge is busy, consider asking someone to sit with you if seating is limited.

If for any reason you cannot follow the rules, you'll be asked to leave. Let's keep this fun for everyone!

Laughing, social media posting and lightly yelling are encouraged.
