Want to graduate earlier. Taking summer courses can help students meet their degree requirements faster and finish their degree earlier than expected.
Need to make up missed coursework. If a student has missed a class during the regular academic year or needs to retake a course, taking a summer course can help them stay on track.
Were waitlisted. Was one of your fall or spring courses waitlisted? More classes have been added for the summer 2024 session. See if it’s available in summer!
Prefer smaller classes. With fewer students on campus, smaller class sizes and more individual attention from professors, summer courses can provide a unique opportunity to dive deep into a subject.
Want to lighten their course load during the regular academic year. If a student wants to spread out their course load throughout the year and not take too many courses during the fall and spring semesters, taking a summer course can help them do that.
Want to explore new subjects. Summer courses can offer unique and interesting subjects that may not be offered during the regular academic year, allowing students to explore new topics and broaden their knowledge.
Want to boost their GPA. Taking a summer course can help students boost their GPA by allowing them to focus on a single subject and put in extra effort.
Want to save money. There’s a cost-benefit of completing your degree in 4 years versus the “5-year-plan.” Investing in summer courses today could lead to an extra year of paychecks in your future.
Want a $400 scholarship. With the new Summer Level Up Scholarship, taking summer classes just became more affordable. Learn more here!
